Who is it for?
This course is perfect for anyone wanting to build their confidence, their creativity or even to step back inwards towards a more authentic vulnerability. Whether you are an occasional public speaker, a yoga teacher, or just passionate about poetry this course will support and encourage your blossoming voice.

What to Expect

This six-week journey takes you safely from heart to page to stage.
Using exercises and games, Fleassy Malay guides the group to find their own words and their own voices culminating in a final group Spoken Word performance night on week 6.

The final performance is shared with a private and invited audience of our nearest and dearest friends and family.

Notes on venue, accessibility etc:

Getting there:
The venue is very close to Fairfield Train Station, and Station street buses. There is also parking on the street and on Station Street.

Accessibility:
The venue is fully accessible with a ramp and accessible facilities.

Inclusivity:
Please note this event is held in a church, however if this to clarify this church does a lot of multi faith inclusion and is a massive advocate for LGBTQI+ rights so please know everyone is welcome in this space. (and I’m a non-religious queer so… 😏)
All genders are welcome to participate in this course.
